Professional Experience

Mr. Aref is an associate with the firm.

 

His practice focuses on general and complex litigation, FINRA arbitration, as well as labor and employment matters.

​

Mr. Aref has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases, which provides him with a wholistic perspective when handling sensitive and contentious legal issues. Mr. Aref has successfully first and second chaired FINRA arbitrations and has drafted multiple successful motions to dismiss in federal court. Mr. Aref also has extensive experience handling mass tort litigation, PAGA actions, and landlord-tenant matters.

 

Additionally, Mr. Aref routinely advises clients concerning employment disputes, state agency investigations, and compliance.

In his free time, Mr. Aref enjoys baking, tending to his plants, and playing with his incorrigible rescue pup.
